Pastor Skip Joannes is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel Perth, Australia, and was instrumental in helping start other Calvary Chapel churches in California, Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, and in The Amazon, Peru.

Here at Mission Valley Christian Fellowship pastor Skip serves an assisting pastor as well as the principal of Grace Christian Schools, our Private Home School Program with over 500 students enrolled from 10 countries and 15 states. Skip has served as the principal of three different schools in Australia as well as California. He has worked on six continents promoting Christian schools, home schools, and also lecturing on topics such as apologetics, creation/evolution, evangelism, as well as worked with HIV/AIDS victims in Africa. Principal Joannes has two sons and has been married for more than 30 years to Terry, his lovely wife.
