Why Sports Ministry?:
I came to know
the Lord Jesus as my savior and Lord through the sports ministry
at Horizon Christian Fellowship. I personally can testify
that being a christian is not boring nor does it put me in
bondage. It has set me FREE. Knowing how much I loved sports,
my wife (Vida) and a friend named Les Palmer encouraged me
to join the sports activities at Horizon - Softball and Bowling.
At this time I was not saved, just my wife and she had just
started attending Horizon the year before. I met Rick Bussard
through bowling. Because of the prayers of these 3 and other
friends, I am now saved. That's why the sports ministry is
so important to me. There has got to be other men/women that
feel the same way.

Lord, short bible study and pray with brothers & sisters.

Softball: 2 seasons per year - Coed and Men's
Prayer Requests:
*Physical health for all players and family.
*New Ideas to bless those wanting to play sports.
*Closer walk with Jesus and/or Salvation to those who play
the sport and their family. God has blessed us, 2 Souls Saved,
many encouraged.
