Worship is a perfectly natural response to the knowledge and experience of the wonderful and healing grace and goodness of our God. Of course, we worship God simply for who He is and what He has done. We also worship Him out of obedience and sacrifice.

In addition to the study of the Bible, one of the most important elements of our fellowship at MVCF is our time of worship and praise to God. It is a beautiful and spiritual experience to give the Lord the glory that is due Him. It is wonderful to know that He literally inhabits the praises of His people.

Those in the worship community here at MVCF not only feel the call to exercise their musical gift, but to sacrificially serve inasmuch as this Music Ministry requires a tremendous amount of time, work, and intercession for the Body. Our time of worship and praise is an integral and important part of the life of the believers that call MVCF their home and, as such, our job as Worship Leaders is vital in that we bring the sheep to the throne of God. This is a serious calling that is approached with sobriety and reverence.

Our Worship Community is comprised of singers and instrumentalists with various styles and backgrounds. From this pool of talent come the various groups that lead the worship for the general congregational meetings, the various ministries that meet throughout the week and the special outreaches that are held throughout the year.

CHOIR PRACTICE

Do you enjoy singing praises to the Lord, especially with lots of other people? Then come on out and be a part of the MVCF choir which practices on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM at the sanctuary. All vocal abilities are welcome! Call Dan Barragan at ext. 105 at the church for more information.
