Why Read The Bible?
The Bible says to "Do your
best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman
who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles
the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).
When being tempted by the devil, Jesus said, "It is written:
`Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that
comes from the mouth of God.'"
And again, when Jesus prayed for you and I, he prayed, "Sanctify
them by the truth; your word is truth" (John 15:17).
